Frequently Asked Questions

Everything is lovingly handcrafted in our Vancouver, Canada studio.
We can certainly ship worldwide.

Shipping will automatically be added to any online purchase, but duties and fees will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

We ask for 4–6 months, for our gowns and separates as they are made-to-order.

Sashes take 6-8 weeks.

If you need your order sooner, please send us an email as we may be able to rush your order.

Our gowns run from street size 2-18, with specific measurements found on our size chart.

Plus sizes are available for an extra fee, please contact us at shop@kathrynbass.ca for more questions.

We most certainly do!
However the gowns and separates that you will purchase from this site are not custom made to an individual’s measurements and alterations may be needed.
If you would like a custom gown created, please contact us at info@kathrynbass.ca to schedule a consultation.
First, select which type of fastener you would like you sash to come on. A satin ribbon, a grosgrain ribbon (this has a ribbed texture and isn’t as shiny as satin), or tulle.

If the sash that you like is a continuous trim, you select hook & eye closure and then order your belt to your custom waist measurement.
Second, select your colour. We offer white, diamond white, ivory & black as our standard colours.

For an additional $25, you may choose a custom colour from our colour cards.

Type the number of the colour you like in the box provided. The $25 will be added to your sash total.

Lastly, select how many sashes you would like to order (most of our sashes would be an amazing addition to your bridesmaids’ outfits!) and click add to cart.

Sashes:
Returns will be accepted for 30 days after the ship date. Product must be in original condition. All returns will be subject to a restocking fee. Please contact us before sending the product back. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges.
Custom size or colour orders are not eligible for return, unless there is a manufacturing defect.

Dresses and Separates:
Returns will not be accepted on gowns more than 15 business days past the delivery date.
Kathryn Bass Bridal is not responsible for dye lot variations. Dye lots can vary up to 10%.
Gowns that have been worn or altered by the customer will not be accepted for return or exchange.
Special orders cannot be returned except in the case of a manufacturing defect.
Returns will not be accepted due to incorrect ordering by the customer.
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.

**No returns will be accepted without a valid Return Authorization Number (RA#).

Do you want a long train? Or no train at all.

The train option for our Separate skirts is for you to choose to have the train of your skirt as shown, with an additional 12” of length just on the train, or no train at all.

Are you 5’10” or taller? Because you may want to order extra length. Selecting this option will add an additional 6” in length to your total hem, all the way around, front and back.
